Who we are

At Optic Nerve (Optic Nerve Ltd) we value our customer data and respect the personal information that you may wish to share with us. On our website, we will never ask for personal information such as name, email, phone number, address, bank details and so on. Our website runs as a passive portfolio without any input data capture. We do however make use of Google Analytics to track anonymous visitor information when exploring our breadth of work.

In the rest of this policy, we will outline how we intend to use your data and what you can do about it.

Types of data we collect

Website Cookies

We use these digital cookies to collect information about browsing and behaviour of the people who access our website. This includes information about pages viewed, duration spent on a page and watch time of our videos.

Google Analytics

When a user visits www.opticnerve.com we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this through the use of cookies, to monitor data such as the number of visitors to various parts of the site. This goes hand in hand with the above Website Cookies section. Cookies are set to last for a duration of 1 month. The information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out these identities of those visiting our site.

Mailing Lists

We do not currently have a mailing list and will not send out mailing list, subscription or blanket style emails to anyone.

Third Parties

We value your privacy and data. Therefore we do not and will not share, in any way, any information with you to any other company or service that is not specified here. We have a commitment to your data and will ensure you are aware of how and where we use it.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Therefore please feel free to contact us on colin@opticnerve.co.uk with any requests. As previously stated, the only information that we will use/hold is cookie data for Google Analytics, no other personal data such as names, address, email, etc will be held.
